Ridgeville Family Home Renovation

A working renovation of a family home in Ridgeville, executed in carefully sequenced phases so the homeowners could remain in place throughout construction.

Our scope began with the baths and the flooring. In the primary bath, the tub surround was rebuilt in vertically stacked sage tile with a fluted finish, anchored by a recessed niche set with a hand-laid marble petal mosaic — a single moment of pattern in an otherwise quiet room. Plumbing was relocated, the substrate fully waterproofed, and matte black fixtures specified throughout.

Throughout the main living areas, the original flooring was lifted and replaced with site-finished solid red oak — milled to width, blind-nailed, and finished on site for a uniform tone that bridges the kitchen, dining, and adjoining rooms. At the tile-to-wood transitions, custom hardwood saddles were milled to integrate the two materials without metal trim.

The kitchen and remaining areas will be addressed in subsequent phases. The work to date represents the standard our clients can expect across every phase to come.
